ROBYN: I am legal (in Canada at least) and 100% Canadian. I live at home with my parents and rats (Griffin and Mush). I graduated from high school in 2004, attended college for a 5 month program in 2004/2005, and recently attended the Univesity of Manitoba this past year. I am working two part-times jobs, I'm in the processes of starting up a web design company, and hope to keep myself busy with those two things over the summer.
I was a non-believer in love, but I think I have since matured from when I was 16. I am currently with an amazing man who completes me in almost every way I think a man can complete a woman. We have a very open and honest relationship. I was always scared about talking about my feelings, but with him it's a lot easier. I can easily see myself with him for the rest of my life and he tells me every day that he feels the exact same way.
I am a very open minded individual and equally, a total bitch. I am extremely opinionated and I don't beat around the bush when it comes to letting people know how I feel or where my opinion lies. I can be a very sexual person, however I'm sure quite a few people I know would be surprised by it. I'm all sweet and innocent on the outside - but quite the opposite once you get to know me. I lost my virginity at 15 - a mistake I might add. The guy who took it was and still is a total loser.
I do not believe in god nor any other higher power. I strongly believe that I am what you would call agnostic. I don't particularily like religious people. They tend to be very offensive people. They push their beliefs on people too much. I hate being frowned upon for my decisions. I don't push my beliefs onto other people but I'll jump to voice my opinion.
I don't have a label even though nearly everyone I meet I'll give them one. I see myself as a mixed label or just nothing. I like everything, clothing, music, cars, movies, piercings, tattoos, you name it. I love goth/rock/punk style and I mix bits and pieces of that into my wardrobe. I mostly stick to dark colors like black, navy blue, gray, etc. I love corsets - I think they are so sexy. I only own a few but my collection will soon grow. My skin is very pale - tanning is so lame. My hair is medium brown and I wish it were 10 shades darker. I don't wear make-up, so I have a very natural look.
My computer and tv are the loves my life and my best friends. My computer has made a profound impact on me and I've made one really good online friend (Chad. I fell in love with my computer in grade 5 and it has grown ever since. I'm not fond of the idea of online dating, although I sort of I did it once. I dated the guy for six months, but he went to school with a friend of mine, so it was different. I avoid meeting people I know online in the real world because I know the dangers involved and I don't want to put myself at risk, plus I had some bad experiences meeting really weird people.
There are a few things in life that I hate. Too bad a lot of those things are qualities that a lot of people have (and I'm sure I embody them too) I despise selfishness, ignorance, procastination and tattle-tails, even though I've been those multiple times. I don't like girly girls and I cannot stand frilly make-up, let alone any make-up at all. I am almost positive the reason I have only 2 female friends is because I've known them since I was 4. I don't like it when girls have an inch thick layer of gunk globbed onto their faces. I don't like liars, I don't like cheaters, people who are dishonest. I hate posers, although most of you would probably call me one. I'm not a fan of rap music or the gangtsa persona. I think it's cheesy. I don't like guys in baby blue, turtle necks, or tight fitting pants. My ideal guy can be anybody, just have long sideburns. I am not a happy camper around the Holidays, in fact I hate them. My family is not very close, and even then, my family is small and full of old people. I find it hard to relate to anyone in my family because my brother and I are the only two who are under 50.
I absolutly love Deloreans, you know the Back to the Future car. It is the coolest car ever. I would kill to have a Delorean one day. I enjoy listening to alternative, rock, punk, psychobilly, metal, and hardcore music, however I will listen to other styles like pop or celtic, you name it. I enjoy the night, if I could go to school from 5pm until midnight and then go out with friends all night long I would, but I can't. My favourite movies include Lilo and Stitch, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Donnie Darko, SLC Punk, Secretary and Amelié. My favourite celebrities include Maggie Gyllenhaal, Audrey Tautou, Dita Von Teese, Bif Naked, Betty Page, Gwen Stefani, Homer Simpson, Raine Maida,and Rowen Atkinson.
